Broadway Bound/ Dancin Through the Decades

Get ready for the spotlight in our Broadway Bound Jazz Camp! Campers will dive into the excitement of musical theatre, learning famous Broadway show tunes and jazz choreography inspired by iconic musicals. With a focus on both dance and singing, this camp is the perfect blend of showbiz flair and Broadway magic. Campers will explore musical theatre-style jazz while discovering the power of expression through song and dance.
Each day includes dance instruction, a daily craft, a snack period, show rehearsal, and outdoor play (weather permitting). At the end of the week, campers will perform their show-stopping Broadway numbers in a special performance.
Dancers should bring a snack, water bottle, and a positive attitude, and please remember to label all belongings. Get ready to shine on stage and be Broadway Bound—where the magic of musicals comes to life! Dancin’ Through the Decades
Campers will learn the history of dance while having the time of their lives in this exciting Dance Camp.  Campers will learn different steps and fun moves such as the 50s & 60s Swing dance, 70s Disco “Stayin’ Alive”, 80s Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, 90s Hammer Time, 2000s and much, much more!  Campers will also enjoy putting together different crafts to learn about all these fun dance decades.  The week will end with a fun-filled Virtual Parent Day Showcase as we go through Memory Lane DANCING THROUGH THE DECADElementary School!
